STE Languages, together with partners De Randstad Groep, Kans², UvA Talen and the Childcare Industry Organisation, has formed the Childcare Language Coalition to help the sector achieve the 3F language requirement for pedagogical staff. This language requirement must be achieved before 1st January 2025.

Language development is crucial for children and their future. Speaking, listening, having conversations; three skills that are necessary to stimulate children’s language development. They are so important that organisations must demonstrate that all their employees meet the required language level for these language skills. 60% of pedagogical staff already meet the language requirement, but 40% do not yet and the deadline of 31st December 2024 is fast approaching.

Together we offer accessible language training NT1 and NT2 based on a level assessment with personal guidance from language trainers, in small groups and with a lot of practice material. The pace and level of employees are central. At the end of the training, pedagogical employees are tested to determine whether they have achieved the level.

We believe that a strong and accessible childcare sector is essential for realizing and promoting the emancipation of all workers, a balanced work-life balance and supporting sustainable economic growth. Childcare therefore has a socially crucial role that concerns everyone.
